I settled in on drawing who was surely the most colorful character in the joint, racking my brain for a clever working title for the drawing of this chain-smoking long-haired Billy Dee Williams look-alike dressed as the Crocodile Hunter, when my assumption was shot to shit. The most colorful character did not get drawn, I realized, when an aggressively close-talking black-haired clone of Richard Simmons (cheap 80′s-style short shorts & all) informed me of his plans to invigorate the youth of today through free aerobic song and dance shows at VA hospitals.
